In the midst of the pandemic in 2020, Realty ONE Group Professionals came up with a unique way to stay connected with their communities - thus the Little Libraries were born. These tiny libraries were set up in ADA County as a way to promote literacy, inspire reading, and bring the community together. Through generous donations from local residents, we were able to upstart nine Little Libraries spread throughout the Treasure Valley.
Since their installation, the Little Libraries have become a source of joy and excitement for children and adults alike. People are free to take or leave a book of their choice, making it easy for everyone to access literature that interests them. We have been consistently maintaining these Little Libraries by adding new books, ranging from G to PG-13, to keep up with demand and encourage reading in all age groups.
If you're wondering whether you live near one of the Little Libraries, it's easy to find out! Simply take a look at the map available on the Realty ONE Group Professionals website. You might be surprised to find out that you're only a few blocks away from one of these charming little libraries.
To continue our efforts in promoting literacy and giving back to the community, we are hosting a ONE-Day Book Drive until April 30th. So far, we have collected over 80 books, but we aim to collect even more! Along with book donations, we are also accepting coloring books and crayons to add more content to the Little Libraries.
By participating in the ONE Day Book Drive, you'll not only be making a difference in the community, but you'll also be helping to maintain these beloved Little Libraries. So, let's come together and inspire a love of reading in the Treasure Valley. This all ties in with Realty ONE Group's ONE Day.
